A MASSIVE THANK YOU has to go out to Thomas Connors, a past patient of the NRH Paediatric Service, for his amazing fundraising and for so generously donating a huge collection of brand new toys and technology equipment to the NRH Daisy Unit.

Thomas decided he wanted to give back to the NRH Daisy Unit after he spent time in the Hospital as part of his rehabilitation journey.  So he took the initiative to create a GoFundMe page, raising a phenomenal €1,600 for the Paediatric Service.  He then went and purchased a fantastic selection of toys, equipment and online technology and games – all items that he knew would be hugely beneficial to the service and would be definitely used by other young patients who would be spending time in the Daisy Unit, similar to Thomas. 

We are so grateful to Thomas for all he has done to support the Daisy Unit. 

Thomas, thank you so much for your incredible kindness – you should be so proud of what you have achieved and the difference this make to all the young people who will be spending time in the NRH Paediatric Service now and into the future.
