We were thrilled to receive a very unexpected phone call from the team at the Billiard Company, offering the NRH the donation of a brand new full size pool table and accessories.  The old table had literally been stuck back together several times so really was on it’s last legs!  This is a hugely popular recreational activity amongst the NRH patients, particularly as a recreational therapy activity.  The new table is now established in its new home, situated in the Day Room of the hospital, providing a great recreational activity for any patients wishing to play.  The arrival of the new table has also enabled us to include pool as one of the sporting activities in the upcoming NRH Sports Championship, due to take place in November this year.  We are so grateful to Darren and John from the Billiard Company for this amazing generosity to the NRH.
