Dún Laoghaire Golf Club Captain’s Charity Day Event

Dún Laoghaire Golf Club Captain’s Charity Event raised a phenomenal €51,837 for the National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH) for adults and children. Funds raised from this amazing event has gone direct to the NRH Recreational Therapy Service to support the building of a new putting green and also the purchasing of golf related rehabilitation equipment for the Hospital. Paediatric Programme Easter Egg Hunt

Not one, not two, but three Easter bunnies joined us in the National Rehabilitation Hospital over the Easter Weekend.  Thanks to Butlers Chocolates and Dunnes Stores,  the bunnies were able to make a great Easter Egg hunt for the NRH Paediatric Patients, and bring them lots of joy and happiness during their long stay in hospital. The NRH Foundation, supporting the National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH), for adults and children, was very kindly chosen as the 2018 Charity Partner of the Rushe Family SuperValu Stores in Killiney, Dalkey, Naas and their Centra Store in Stillorgan.  Each year the customers and staff of these stores are asked for nominations to their charity of the year programme and in 2018 we were delighted to hear we had been the successful charity in this process. Dr Mark Delargy accepted the ‘Light of Hope’ Award on behalf of the NRH, from the Irish Road Victims Association (IRVA). The award was presented to Dr. Delargy by Donna Price, Founder and Chairperson of IRVA, and Margaret Kavanagh, Dublin City Public Relations Officer for IRVA, in connection with World Remembrance Day for road victims. TCD Med Day 2018

Thanks to TCD Med Day 2018 the NRH Foundation will be able to use funds received to support the purchase of a new Specialist Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Imaging System which will be used in both the Spinal Cord Programme and the Brain Injury Programme within the NRH. Read more
