Dr Mark Delargy accepted the ‘Light of Hope’ Award on behalf of the NRH, from the Irish Road Victims Association (IRVA). The award was presented to Dr. Delargy by Donna Price, Founder and Chairperson of IRVA, and Margaret Kavanagh, Dublin City Public Relations Officer for IRVA, in connection with World Remembrance Day for road victims.

The Irish Road Victims Association is a NGO that supports those bereaved or injured by road collisions and campaigns for justice, rights and recognition for Road Crash Victims.

The NRH was delighted to receive this award for the great work done in the NRH in helping rehabilitate road crash victims, relieving their suffering and that of their families. The award also acknowledges the great efforts of the NRH in trying to ensure adequate provision of specialised services and accommodation to meet the needs of this large group of trauma victims.
