In 2009 Combines4Charity was created by 10 cereal farmers who decided to take up the challenge of setting a new Guinness World Record while also raising funds to support various Charity organisations.  Since 2009 this amazing group of committed and very enthusiastic fundraisers have gone on to break a number of world records, in addition to raising an absolutely phenomenal amount of money for their chosen charities.

The NRH Foundation is extremely grateful and feels very lucky to be one of their main beneficiaries and to have had the privilege of working with this amazing group for the last 10 years.  In 2019 to celebrate their 10 year anniversary, Combines4Charity decided to hold a monster raffle.  Tickets went on sale for the chance to win 10 amazing prizes, with the raffle taking place on the 11th of January 2020.  With tickets sold throughout the world, the amazing array of prizes, listed below, really caught everyone’s attention:

The funds donated by Combines4Charity have, throughout the years, supported the Spinal Injury Programme within the NRH.  The NRH provides the only national, complex specialist inpatient rehabilitation service for people with an acquired spinal injury.

On Friday 24th of July, we were delighted to welcome some of the Combines4Charity Committee to the National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH) to present the NRH Foundation with a cheque for the phenomenal amount of €35,000.

We cannot thank Combines4Charity enough for the amazing support they have given the NRH and the spinal patients over the last ten years.  The dedication and hard work put in by all involved in Combines4Charity is extraordinary, and we will be forever grateful for the difference it has made to the NRH Spinal Programme.
