Bellewstown Charity Horse Race Raises Funds for NRH Spinal Injury Programme

On the 28th of August 2019 a charity horse race took place on Bellewstown Race Course to raise vital funds to support the National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH) for adults and children.  The Ward Union Hunt, in partnership with the Bellewstown Race Committee, organise this charity race at the Bellewtown Races in memory of NRH past patient Liz Jenkinson (R.I.P).  The Ward Union Hunt chose for the funds raised to go direct to support the NRH Spinal Injury Programme.  We feel very privileged to be the nominated charity for this race.  Thank you to all the organising committee; the participants in this race who raised a phenomenal amount of sponsorship money; and all who supported this fantastic fundraising initiative.  This event in 2019 along raised an amazing €10,055 for the NRH, enabling the purchase of vital rehabilitation equipment needed for the NRH Spinal Programme.
