Support Dún Laoghaire Golf Club’s Captain’s Charity Day
A fundraising event is currently being organised by Dún Laoghaire Golf Club to raise much needed funds for the National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH) for Adults & Children.
The event that is being organised is:
- Captain’s Charity Day
- Date: Sunday 15th of September
- Venue: Dún Laoghaire Golf Club
This event will consist of an 18 hole shotgun competition including: corporate team shotgun, a junior 9 hole shotgun, re-entry shotgun, auction and raffle.
All monies raised will go directly to the NRH New Hospital Project and help equip Ireland’s first bespoke rehabilitation centre. This new facility due to open early next year, will reshape the delivery of complex medical specialist rehabilitation services in Ireland.
How can you support?
- Corporates: Enter a Corporate Team of 4 in the 18 Hole Morning / Afternoon Competition €1,000 per team. Contact fundraising@NRH.ie for more information.
- Donate a Prize: Auction & Raffle Prizes are being sought for both a raffle and an auction that will take place on the Captain’s Charity Day. Auctions and raffles raise vital funds that make a direct difference to the lives of patients in the NRH.
The NRH is the only service of its type in the country, a fully publicly funded hospital (with no private /semi private beds), providing a range of complex medical rehabilitation services to adults and children who as a result of an accident, illness or injury require specialist rehabilitation services through the Spinal Injury Programme, Brain Injury Programme (Incl. Stroke), Prosthetic, Orthotic & Limb Absence Rehabilitation (POLAR) Programme and finally the Paediatric Programme. The NRH has a holistic approach, which includes the whole family on the rehabilitation journey. The NRH Foundation supports the NRH through funding specialist projects, equipment and research that will help make a direct difference to the lives of the patients in the NRH, thanks to donors and fundraisers. Funds are even more vital now with our new hospital development under construction.
We would be honoured if you would support the ‘Captain’s Charity Day’ this year, and help make a real difference to the patients, both adults and children, of the NRH.
